Space Academy x RYE Always Fresh

We tapped local boutique RYE Always Fresh for a limited collection of exclusive items. 

The premium purveyor of everything we need and love hasn’t been around that long, but their roots in the community stem back far beyond the days of vintage clothing and sneaker resellers. The boutique is firmly founded on principles and humble beginnings.

Store owners Derek and Josh hold true to the beliefs of their grandfather Wilbur Rye, who was the market manager for the neighborhood Piggly Wiggly grocery store. Wilbur believed in quality products and customer service above all, which is what he built his reputation on. His customers came from as far away as New York and Boston who would visit the store 4 times annually, and would purchase at least $300 of total meat products on each visit.

These same principles are displayed throughout the store. In fact, the very layout of the store from the display tables to the butchers block and the restored meat freezer that now displays the hottest hard-to-find sneakers is reminiscent of a simpler time. They even wrap each t-shirt order in brown kraft butcher paper.

We are honored to partner with the team over at RYE Always Fresh. The collection includes a waterproof bomber jacket, long sleeve pocket t-shirt, pullover hoodie, and face mask, as well as some store exclusive items that will only be available in-store.
